Hey. I'm Andrew and I'm a capricornius or a leon or a saggetarian (is that like a vegetarian?) or something else related to the stars and other cool things that don't control our lives. I'm still a high school band nerd even though I haven't been in high school in a few years. Also, cheese is the greatest supplementary food ever created. Also, my fiancee Michelle thinks I'm a dork. I grew up listening to random music that my Dad liked, like Bobby McFerrin, U2, Bonnie Raitt, and Muddy Waters and then expanded my tastes by joining one of those "Buy 1, Get 25 Free, NOTHING MORE TO BUY EVER! (buy 15 more)" record clubs. That brought bands like Weezer and Green Day, and P.O.T.U.S.A. into my realm of liking, which led me into liking all kinds of bands like Sublime, Nickel Creek, Jimmy Eat World, Queen, and, of course, The Beatles.

Anyway, I play guitar and sing in this little group we've got going here. I've played music all my life, but being in this band has really helped me grow as a musician and as a person. Music has been my first passion since I was really young and if there is one thing I've found about Defying Belief, it's that this band is all about the music. Ryan and I started the band as an outlet for our passion for music and found what we were looking for and then some. All of us have discovered a way to do what we love while putting our thoughts out there and having a damn good time. I really think we've got a good thing going with this band and I hope we'll keep it going until we just can't do it anymore.
